The water is great, come and have a dive.

The Leopard sharks are about in plentiful numbers and we have started seeing Manta action again. The water has had a few cooler currents come through but has mostly stayed in the 22 and above range, making it very pleasant diving.

The Cook Island dive sites seem to get better every season, but there is no need to wait until the next one….this one is a beauty.

Dive Report

Despite a week of northerlies blowing out the northern side of the island Cook Island still produced some excellent diving conditions. Currents have run strongly and brought a considerable amount of life about to entertain divers and snorkellers alike.

From turtles to big families of squid, shovelnose sharks and Mantas, we have seen a lot of great stuff lately. Waters have remained warm and inviting and certainly worth the small discomfort of a choppy Tweed Bar. It won’t be long before the next arrivals turn up, but if you are keen to see the warm water creatures then make sure you dont’t miss out.

Dive Report

Team, reporting in that we didn't make the Kingscliff Pinnacles today as the swell beat us. Some sets came through as high as 3 metres.

Instead we took shelter in the lea of Cook Island which again delivered spectacular conditions with some of the best Vis we have seen this year. Big green turtles and the playful cuttlefish all were plentiful. Another super day!

There is another boat scheduled to attempt this exclusive Pinnacle dive for next Saturday at this stage. A number of spots are already booked, so again it is expected to be a sell out with a waiting list. If you are an advanced diver keen to get some depth in your log then this is one to book.

Give us a call to reserve your spot !
